My
Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts
This wind is
bringing in a storm that may give us more of the white stuff. My Option: Just
Do It.
I watched
the closing ceremony last night. I recorded it so I could skip the way-top-many
commercials. As far as closings go, this one was nice. I enjoyed all the children’s
singing. In four years, it will be in
Italy…where they will be in Milano and Cortina.
This is not like Denver and Fort Collins…it is more like Flagstaff and
Tucson…a good 4+ hour drive. At present, the bus or train are between 7 and 8 hours.
The athletes won’t complain, but the TV and audiences will have to make more concessions.
I learned a
lot about Havana Syndrome on 60 Minutes last night. It is very scary for Federal workers and
families around the world. Employees have been hit with it at home, in hotels,
and in the area between the White House and the employee parking lot. The head
of the CIA says there are many unexplained incidents in the US and around the
world. All they say we know is that it is a microwave that is directed. It
causes temporary and long-term symptoms. Adults and children have been affected.
This is one time I hope they know more than they are telling us.
Tomorrow I
get my semi-annual teeth cleaning…can’t wait. Haha.
