My Rambling Thoughts
I
had my last PT appointment this morning. Wrist is doing fine, still healing, so
only wear the sleeve at night, but during the day I can just show off my
fantastic scar along with my shaved arm. I never expected this to take almost 6
months, but thinking back, that’s what the surgeon said…’due to your age’. I
had my ‘grip strength’ and my ‘pinch strength’ tested today. Both are within
normal range…’for my age’.
Obama
is out campaigning, and I have to say his positive, upbeat candor is really quite
refreshing after 2 years of the exact opposite. And the crowd was diverse,
another positive.
One
big lesson from the 2016 election was that polls don’t really know squat. I
guess it’s not surprising that there are so many ‘dead heat’ elections this
year. I think the pollsters are just saying ‘dead heat’ to keep their somewhat
sketchy conclusions seem believable.
Fall
has definitely arrived here at 7000’. Chilly nights, cool mornings, semi-warmth
during the afternoon, and then chilly again.
