Thoughts
for the day
Now that I’m back in the groove of
Flagstaff…
Yesterday morning I went for a blood
draw. I usually get there by 7:30a but since my last visit the ultrasound now
get in at 8am. I waited until 8:30 only to find out they were short-staffed and
I would have to go back on Thursday at 8am. I got there today just before 8.
The ultrasound lady showed up about 8:25. I was in out by 8:30. All good.
I’m already fed up with political commercials
and political newscasts. The news keeps saying the race is neck-in-neck. I just
don’t believe it. Maybe I’m naïve. How can it be so close when Trump is on the
ballot? I think it is just clickbait to keep us watching the news. CNN, MSNBC,
and Fox are all saying the same thing.
I honestly have more faith in the voters.
I understand it will be close, but the neck-in-neck seems a big stretch.
Even with the minor injury and a little
trouble walking on cobblestones, I am so glad I spent a great week with my
relatives in Mexico. Our family bond is stronger than ever.

When the sun rises and you greet the day, you’ll find your device fully charged
and raring to take on the world. This busted myth stands as a testament to the
cleverness that’s woven into the fabric of our modern devices.
Native
American Facts…
Native American Tribes Have
Fought for Environmental Justice
Native American communities
have long been at the forefront of the fight for environmental justice. Many
tribes have faced disproportionate impacts from pollution, resource extraction,
and climate change, as their lands and ways of life are often tied to the
health of the environment.
In recent years, Native
American activists have led high-profile campaigns against oil pipelines, coal
mines, and other projects that threaten their communities and sacred sites.
The Standing Rock Sioux
Tribe’s resistance to the Dakota Access Pipeline, for example, garnered
international attention and solidarity. These struggles highlight the
intersection of indigenous rights, environmental protection, and social
justice.
