A real scorcher today. Still waiting for the
monsoon.
I
got my new tags for my vehicle yesterday. Put them on the vehicle today and filed
all the old paperwork from buying a new car.
I
am unhappy that the Secret Service says they may never know who brought a bag
of cocaine into the White House West Wing. Some on, I’m still taking my shoes and
belt off to get on an airplane. Those in the West Wing can deal with a lot more
security. I really don’t want anyone running the government having cocaine.
The
writer’s strike continues and now has the actors on the picket line too. Both
are concerned about the use of AI and how they get paid for residuals. The
Studio execs and shareholders are making a bundle and a fair portion should go
to the artists who are on the front line.
