Random Tidbits
Many of the
legends were brought to America in the 1700s, when German immigrants settled in
Pennsylvania Dutch country.
In Medieval
Europe, churchgoers would take a walk after Easter Mass, led by a crucifix or
the Easter candle. Today these walks endure as Easter Parades. People show off
their spring finery, including lovely bonnets decorated for spring.

My Rambling Thoughts
April showers…Nice.
Our forest can always use the rain.
So, I did watch
part of the CNN marathon town hall. I heard lots of good ideas to improve the
country. Only one will make it as the Democrat nominee. I can only hope the nominee’s
ego will allow him/her to put some of the other hopefuls’ ideas in their
platform.
Happy camper as
both my AZ and Federal tax refunds have been deposited. This is in record time.
Both deposits hit within 10 days of my electronic filing.
AZ just joined 46
other states in making it illegal to touch your cell phone while driving. About
time. Last month they tried to outlaw num-chuks and other weapons but also
outlawed jump ropes with wooden handles. I hope the cell phone use while driving
ends, but not sure that kids can’t have jump ropes with handles.
