Thoughts for the day
Just another windy spring day.
Over the past few days, we have learned that Biden did not have his full facilities
and that his administration was covering it up. It is no wonder that so many
Americans are losing faith in our government. I get that it is difficult to
watch a boss or a colleague as they no longer perform as before, yet won’t
willing step aside. This is when those with true character step in. Talking
about the President makes this much more difficult, but isolation and covering
for him is not the answer people want. The constitution allows for a President
to leave office during their term and the Vice President steps in. Maybe our
country would have been in much different shape it Biden had resigned much
earlier. It would have been a shock for sure, but the country could have gotten
used to Kamala as President and many would have felt better about voting for
her. Biden did himself no favors by staying in office and certainly sent a
message that he didn’t think Kamala could do the job. Just sad.
Native American Tribal Proverbs
"We do not inherit the Earth from our
ancestors, we borrow it from our children." © Lincoln Landscaping
The proverb "We do not inherit the Earth
from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children" emphasizes the
importance of stewardship for future generations. It calls us to consider the
legacy we leave behind.
Living with this mindset encourages sustainable
practices and a deep respect for nature. Reflecting on this, one might find
inspiration to make conscious choices that protect the environment.
It’s a reminder that our actions today will shape
the world of tomorrow, urging us to be mindful custodians of our planet.

people different prices for the same product.

Unknown Civilizations that once ruled the world…
Hittite Empire © Britannica
The Hittite Empire, centered in Anatolia (modern Turkey), was
a formidable force from the 17th to 11th centuries BCE. Known for their
advanced use of iron, the Hittites revolutionized weaponry and agriculture.
They are notable for early treaties like the Treaty of Kadesh
with Egypt, among the first recorded peace agreements. Their capital, Hattusa,
boasts impressive ruins with massive stone walls and ceremonial gates.
The Hittites developed cuneiform script, enriching their
historical record. Despite their eventual collapse, their legacy influenced
neighboring cultures, particularly in metallurgy and governance, marking
significant contributions to ancient civilizations.
