Another nice
summer day.
Looking for
a vehicle after Covid is much more than I expected. Checked a few more car
dealers today. None available, some coming in by early Sept. Everybody has ‘slightly’
used cars [2020-2021] with low mileage, selling for prices as if they were brand
new.
The killing
of 4 Muslims in Albuquerque this summer has the city on edge. Now the city is
offering to bring meals to Muslims who are afraid to leave their homes. So sad.
Trump’s
Mar-A-Lago residence had an FBI raid yesterday, while Donald and the family were
in NYC. They took at least 15 boxes that Trump had removed from the White
House. The FBI had about 30 agents enter the vacant house. Since this the first
time a former President’s residence has been ‘raided’, I hope they find
something worthwhile. Trump is playing the victim card. Not surprised.

This protest
song was performed by folk singer Barry McGuire and released in 1965. It was
written by a 19-year-old named P.F. Sloan who would go on to write songs for
major bands like the Turtles and Herman’s Hermits. Several other artists have
recorded “Eve of Destruction,” including Bob Dylan.
