Thoughts for the day
The latest storm brought about 6” of
snow. Now more snow expected Saturday night.
Trump has finally lowered the price of
eggs. Sadly, he lowered the family ‘nest egg.’
Two Federal judges (MD, CA) ordered

The Pledge of Allegiance
The Pledge of Allegiance is a solemn
promise of loyalty to the flag and the republic it represents. Recited in
schools and public gatherings, it underscores the values of patriotism and
unity.
The phrase "one nation, under
God," added in 1954, highlights the role of faith in American life. This
pledge serves as a reminder of the collective commitment to uphold the
principles of democracy and freedom.
It reinforces the idea that, despite
differences, Americans are bound by a shared vision of liberty. The Pledge of
Allegiance is more than a ritual; it's a declaration of allegiance to the
nation's ideals.
