Today’s Thoughts
Windy day.
I
headed out early to do some shopping. Found most of what I needed.
Gas
was only $3.67 when I filled up. Can’t believe I can say: ONLY!
I
am happy to say I know quite a few 80+-year-olds that I consider friends. All
are still active and doing fairly well. That being said, I now believe Biden to
too old to be the leader of the free world. He has done a lot to help out
people in the country, and a decent job on Foreign Affairs; however, he has
obviously slowed down a lot during this administration. If the choice is Biden
or Trump, I’ll still vote for Biden.

Words pronounced

This
is another one that's kind of divided amongst the various regions of the United
States. Southerners pronounce the word with three syllables and emphasize the second
syllable ('care-uh-mel'). Other areas, especially the north, pronounce it with
two syllables and eradicate the second syllable that the Southerners emphasize
(kar-mel).
