The Outer Space Treaty (formally known as the
Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and
Use of Outer Space, Including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies), ratified in
1967, prohibits any country from claiming sovereignty over the Moon or any
other celestial bodies (and from placing nuclear weapons or other WMDs on them).

My Rambling Thoughts
Ah…Monday. Our
snow was a real bust…lots of rain with a few flakes that melted as they smashed
the ground. A lot like the Super Bowl.
It was like nobody wanted to win, knowing they had to go to the White House.
From my corner of the world, no great commercials either...never thought I
would hear Bob Dylan’s song hawking beer. And I didn’t understand the half-time
show…fire was cool. I guess it was old geezer status for me.
The weatherman sez
to expect a foot of snow this week here in town. I wonder if he is still
counting the 4” that never came. He has been missing a whole lot the past few
weeks.
