Today’s Quote
From
too much love of living,
From
hope and fear set free,
We
thank with brief thanksgiving
Whatever
gods may be That no life lives for ever;
That
dead men rise up never;
That
even the weariest river Winds somewhere safe to sea.
Algernon
Charles Swinburne
Random Tidbits
'Pink' once meant 'yellow.'
We know, it's confusing. See, Dutch 'pink' was a yellow pigment; but because
'pink' also means a frilled edge, it became closely associated with the
dianthus flower, which has notched petals. And what's the most common color for
dianthus flowers? You guessed it: pink.
A little humor

THE FARMER ALLOWS WALKERS TO CROSS THE FIELD FOR FREE,
BUT THE BULL CHARGES.
True Things
"Using the
best in technology including a scalar generator to give the spirits energy to
communicate which has never been done before in the paranormal field we were
able to offer a safe and respectful seance to the largest ever audience,"
he said. "We hope that the audience enjoyed it as much as we did."

My Rambling Thoughts
A
warm day with a bright sun. Nice
I
have faith and experience with the Federal government. During my career, I
lived through the Wounded Knee takeover, which only peripherally effected
Navajo, I worked through every administration from Nixon to Obama. Those who
haven’t worked for the Feds, have a hard time understanding the many, many layers
and the thousands of permanent government employees who make the system work.
With or without Trump’s messy handling of the transition, we will survive. A
little good news is that Pence met with the task force for the first time in 3
weeks. Maybe something will come of that. This country needs leadership that
will deal with this Covid crisis. I am
astounded daily of the people in this country who will not wear a mask. It is so
selfish.
There
is one group of citizens that are having a harder time than most…the hearing
impaired who depend on lip-reading. They have resorted to carrying a pad and
pencil to communicate with hearing people in their daily life. Sadly, many are
being condemned and harassed by unempathetic. Sad.
Another
group: the Secret Service who protect the US President. Over 130 agents are
infected and many quarantined after the Trump campaign rallies.
