Thoughts for the day
A cloudy but nice spring day.
I went in for a blood draw this morning
and was a week too early. Oh well. My dental deep cleaning went very well.
This shift in America has me
befuddled. Guess I am just old. I had some differences with the US government,
but I did not want it to be totally destroyed. I talked to my brother and he
was asking about IRA’s. The decrease is a tad frightening. My financial advisor
said to just sit steady for now. My brother is looking into some European entities
that may protect money from the fall. I’ll wait and see what happens.
Yesterday was the Trump Tariff Day and
the stock market opening well was Newsmax, the right-wing business. That too
seems a little odd since they were not making any big announcement.
I’m also not excited that Dr. Mehmet
Oz is now the administrator for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
He’s too well known for hawking unusual medical treatments through Infomercials.
