Bronchitis…what a pain in the butt. While my cough had gotten
better for a period of time, it wasn’t going away completely. So off to Urgent
Care this morning. Turns out Monday morning is not the best time to go…a 2 hour
wait. Got some pills to get rid of the congestion. O2 level was 90 so no
breathing treatment. Lower than usual but not disastrous. Whatever the pills
are, they are working…congestion is much less this afternoon than it was this
morning. Good news.

When Rovio launched the Angry Birds app, consumers were empowered
to take action (albeit subconsciously) against some scary news of the time.
According to Ville Heijari, Rovio’s former senior vice president of marketing,
the game’s villainous, snivelling pigs were inspired by the swine flu epidemic,
a crisis that was then causing alarm across the world.

named Babbette finds herself in dire trouble. Her business has gone bust and
she's in serious financial trouble. She's so desperate that she decides to ask
God for help. She begins to pray... "God, please help me. I've lost my
business and if I don't get some money, I'm going to lose my house as well.

Really Happened
Alecia Phonesavanh said she had been staying with her
sister-in-law in Habersham County after her family's home burned down when a
SWAT team burst into the home as part of a drug investigation.
One of the officers tossed a stun grenade that Phonesavanh said
landed in her 19-month-old son's playpen and exploded on his pillow, right in
his face, causing serious burns, cuts, and other injuries.Now, there have been a lot of stories in the news lately about the "militarization" of police in this country, but grenading a baby is a little extreme.
"He's only a baby," Phonesavanh said, "He didn't deserve any of this."
Police said they had a no-knock warrant to arrest a man at that address known to have drugs and weapons. The raid occurred at just before 3 a.m.
"There was no clothes, no toys, nothing to indicate that there was children present in the home," Cornelia Police Chief Rick Darby said. "If there had been, then we'd have done something different."
However Phonesavanh said, "The cops threw that grenade in the door without looking first, and it landed right in the playpen."
Police did not say whether the toddler was being cooperative with police, but Chief Darby did say the officers involved in the raid felt badly about the boy's injuries. So he's got that going for him.
The boy has been taken to a burn unit for treatment and placed in a medically induced coma.

matter of scientific planning.If rain is forecast for public holidays, the authorities make the rain clouds disappear before they get to Moscow, using a system that artificially stops rain from falling in a particular place.
A plane sprays chemicals close to the unwanted clouds, which makes it rain right there and then or makes the clouds disappear.
