Thoughts for the day
Some very dark clouds are coming over the mountain. Hope it drops rain.
I got a call about 4pm for my blood doctor’s nurse. It seems my simple
blood draw clotted before they could run the tests. It was too late to get
another draw, so Monday I go in at 8 for another draw, then to my appointment
at 9am with the doctor. It will probably be a long day. I will have to wait for
the results then have the 4-5 hour treatment. Crazy.
Our discussion group meets next Saturday to discuss NATO’S FUTURE AND EUROPEAN
SECURITY. It should be a great discussion.
It will be so ironic if Trump is brought down by the Epstein mess. All
the files need to be released and let the cards fall where they may.
Famous Quotes That People Have Always
Misinterpreted
"I think, therefore I
am" – RenĂ© Descartes
This is often quoted as a form
of recognition. However, the original quote is Latin and has a broader meaning.
The Latin version goes, “I am thinking; therefore, I exist.” It shows how easy
it is for philosophical quotes to be simplified over time. There are still many
questions about why such a simple line created so many questions about
existence.
