A nice fall
day. Heading in for a phlebotomy about 2pm.
I did my
monthly run to Walmart this morning. They are rearranging the entire store. I had
to ask to find several items. I kept repeating to myself ‘Change is good’ so
that I would believe it. I’m still not a believer.
The Cards
lost to the Eagles. They had chances to tie, but just kept blowing the plays. Neither
the Cards nor the Broncos are having good seasons. Oh well!

Superstitions
Breaking a
Wishbone
The wishbone
superstition started thousands of years ago with the Etruscan Italian empire.
They predicted the future by observing chickens and viewed the collarbone as a
sacred part of the bird. The Etruscans would let the collarbones dry out and
then keep them to make wishes. Romans adopted this tradition and started
breaking the bones among two people due to a lack of availability.
