 It is still HOT!

Back in the day I stayed at a motel during some weekends on the main drag of Flagstaff. It was recently purchased and is being renovated. The buildings are now painted Bronco Orange and Blue. Nice!

I had a great Chinese lunch with Faith and Andy. They are just back from visiting Andy's brother in a Blanding Care Center. His brother is happy to be around lots of Navajo.

We need more information on the US soldier who defected in Korea. He is a black soldier in trouble with the brass. Now he is in N. Vietnam. There has to be more to the story.

Interesting: I marriage vows the clergy have said “I now pronounce you man and wife.” It was just pointed out to me that it states a gender (man) and a role (wife). That is weird.

Boomer Slang…

Boogie

“Boogie” meant to dance energetically, often associated with disco or funk music. It reflected the lively and rhythmic movements of the dance floor.

Groove

“Groove” referred to getting into a relaxed, enjoyable rhythm or flow. It described the state of being completely absorbed and engaged in an activity, often associated with music, dancing, or any pursuit that brought a sense of joy and harmony.

True Conspiracy Theories…

MK-Ultra

MK-Ultra was a CIA project in the 1950s and 60s that involved mind control experiments on human subjects. The experiments included the use of drugs, hypnosis, and other forms of psychological torture. The project was initially denied by the CIA, but it was later confirmed through declassified documents.
