The noticeable eclipse was
about 20 minutes here. Very eerie during that time. No birds were seen or heard
and still haven’t returned by noon.
Had another good night’s
sleep, no ice pack either. Getting so much better. I actually took a full sack
of laundry downstairs in one trip. Happy camper.
The events that continue in
Gaza are horrific. It is getting more difficult to realize that Hamas is a
small group of Palestinians there. Much easier to label all Palestinians as
Hamas, than to dig into the facts. The 24-hour news outlets are doing a little
more interviews with Palestinians on their horrific loss too.

instill the belief that their every desire would be immediately fulfilled. This

Random Trivia…
During World War I, the French built a “fake
Paris.” Complete with a duplicate Champs-Elysées and Gard Du Nord, this “fake
Paris” was built by the French towards the end of WWI. It was built as a means
of throwing off German bomber and fighter pilots flying over French skies.
Since 1945, all British tanks are equipped with tea-making
facilities. Having 30 tanks destroyed by the Germans while English soldiers
were taking a 15-minute tea break, British high command realized if tank crews
could make a brew on the go, then they wouldn’t be susceptible to being caught
with their pants down and their kettles out by the enemy.
