Trivia
"Ars longa, vita brevis" is a Latin
translation of a quote commonly attributed to the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates. In English it
would be, "Art is long, life is short." Roman
statues were often made with heads that could be removed and replaced with
other heads. |
My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts
May be getting a storm. Overcast. Weather guy says first snow of
the season tonight. He’s been wrong before. I finally
got to watch a Broncos game on TV. Not a good game for them. The US
will be doing a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Olympics. Time for the IOC to
step up. President
Trump: “Anybody that doesn’t think there wasn’t Election Fraud in the 2020 Presidential
Election is either very stupid, or very corrupt.” Hmmm. English teachers
recognize this use of double negative to make a positive. I guess Trump missed
class that day. |
