Thoughts for the day
Another day with rain…can’t complain…we need the moisture.
The Cardinals are locked away to pick the new Pope.
The eyes of the world have moved to the Pakistan/Indian border where
tensions are very high and everyone knows they both have nuclear bombs.
I miss the old days when the President of the US was not on TV every day.
Back then the President did his job without having to broadcast to the world.
Native American Tribes That Dominated History
Navajo (Diné) © History Keen
The Navajo, or Diné, inhabit the rugged Four Corners region,
where Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado meet. They developed a strong
economy through pastoralism, farming, and exquisite weaving.
Known for their skillful defensive tactics, the Navajo
successfully resisted many incursions into their territory. Their society is
deeply rooted in kinship and cultural traditions, which provided strength
during conflicts.
The Navajo's ability to adapt to their environment and
maintain their cultural heritage is a testament to their resilience. Their art,
especially weaving, continues to be celebrated for its beauty and significance.

When black & white photographs were invented, they must have looked weird because people had never seen the world in black & white before.
Misunderstood History…
The Great
Wall of China Isn’t Visible From Space
For
years, people claimed the Great Wall was the only man-made structure visible
from orbit. But astronauts confirm it’s nearly impossible to see without
magnification.
The myth was likely started by early space speculation and later debunked by
NASA. Other structures, like highways, are much easier to spot from space.
