My Rambling Thoughts
Headed
out to find a new pair of sneakers. The mall has 3 stores that sell men’s
shoes. Couldn’t find anything I really liked. Guess I’ll try the west side of
town. I wandered the Sears store as it is closing soon. Biggest surprise there
was lots of furniture for the living room and mattresses. Never saw those at
this Sears before. Didn’t buy anything.
On
Friday I get the staples removed from my wrist surgery. Can’t wait. Pain was
minimal after the operation and is now non-existent. Very tired to the bandage
and packaging on my arm. Wearing long sleeves or a jacket with a wrist band
make life too complicated. Only a few more days.
I
think I’m going to find a course on Political Advertising to take. Who are
these people who make the commercials that think the best way to get votes is
to tear down your opponent and never talk about your ideas? My TV is filled with
Vote for Me because my opponent is the devil incarnate. I also don’t get the
commercials paid for by some other group that make one candidate, even if they
are in office now, sound like they just came up from Hell to get votes. Give us
a break. Tell voters what your beliefs are, what change you want to make, and
let the voters decide. I believe that what democracy is all about.
