Philosopher's Stone. The U.S. editor for this book thought that
"Philosopher's Stone" didn't convey magic overtly enough. 6. And
Then There Were None by Agatha Christie: 100 million copies sold In this

My Sometimes-Long-Winded
Thoughts
A little
windy but bearable. Cleaning
around the house. Still amazed how much clutter accumulate. I live alone and
have very few visitors since Covid began. Yet the clutter multiplies. Biden is
staying busy in Europe…mending fence, looking on the bright side. Virginia governor
race is close. A Dem win will help Biden, guess we just wait and see. When I
first moved here about 12 years ago, Halloween brought around lots of kids. I
decorated outside and even played spooky music and had a bubbling caldron.
Over the years less and less kids came into the complex. Only some units gave
out candy and less and less decorated outside. Then Covid hit. This year only
one house has outside decorations. I’m not doing anything but will keep my
eye out to see if many kids are running around. I miss the fun and the
children, but too lazy to decorate for less than 10 kids. The Colorado
Buffaloes were playing on my TV. That never happens. I guess I know why… they
are losing to Oregon at halftime. Still nice to watch. |
