My Rambling Thoughts
Smoky and smelly here at 7000’. There are two fires near Sedona that have now moved up onto the Mogollon Rim. There has been a little smoke around for a couple of days, but late yesterday and into today the smoke became very bothersome. It is a lightning caused fire and has been in rugged and steep areas, now that it is on the rim, they can now really deal with it.

As I was channel surfing I found the 1997 movie ‘Starship Troopers’. After watching about 15 minutes I decided this is the movie that gave 45 the idea of a space force. It was a little too campy for my taste, so I never finished it. In the part I watched, no one had bone spurs. But the soldiers were shooting nukes from shoulder-fired weapons on an enemy planet where they didn’t need to wear a space suit.

Decided it was time for a deep clean of the laundry room and downstairs’ bathroom. Glad it is now done.

Mary is IM-ing me and posting pics on her Italian adventure. Beautiful area she is in…Sassie di Matera, Italy.

No Broncos on TV but at half time, they need some energy. Cards are on TV and look like they forgot how to play football. Maybe the 2nd half will help both teams.
