My Rambling Thoughts
Early morning rain, most of our snow is melted. Nice day outside. Another storm is brewing.

It is time to remember our National Motto: E Pluribus Unum [Out of Many, One]. This country has always had strong opinions and disagreed with others. Everyone wants to be heard, everyone wants to have others in their camp. Before we have ever united as One on any topic, it takes lots of arguing, name calling, and hurt feelings. We are in the middle of one of those times. I have lived through the Cold War, the ‘Duck & Cover’ era, the Civil Rights Movement, The JFK, RFK, and MLK assassinations, the Vietnam War and all the protests, the Nixon mess, the Clinton mess, and in the end, we ended up united. This nation is not perfect, lots of mistakes have been made, lots has been corrected. It just takes time. As tired as I am of the current political mess, I know, in my heart, that this too will end…in time..and our country will emerge stronger than ever.

I went out this morning for a quick run to the store. My steering wheel was cold and sticky. I have a leather or leather-like cover that came with the vehicle. My guess is that the cold weather brought out all the human oil and dirt that had absorbed into the cover. When I got home, I got out my Simple Green and cleaned off all the newly discovered gunk. Hopefully I’ll remember to do it more often. Maybe that’s why people wear driving gloves in expensive vehicles.
