Free Rambling Thoughts:   

Nice day for a nice walk…so I took advantage of that. This is certainly what would be called a ‘mild’ winter. We really need some moisture, as we are about ½ of our recent amounts…and we are still in a drought. Maybe some moisture will come soon. I’m ready for a nice wet snow of a couple of inches.

 

Only in AZ…continues…our governor has ‘left the state on official business’ and no one in the government will tell the press or the taxpayers where she is. One rumor has her in DC, meeting with other conservative Republicans on the fiscal cliff. Why in secret? Who knows? On top of that the Sec of State in AZ had to do the official job of making the last election legal. He also has now stated publicly that he doesn’t believe our governor can run for office again due to the term limit in the AZ constitution. She disagrees and says that she is seriously considering a run in 2014.

 

Yesterday was the first day that the local paper didn’t print a Monday edition…to save money. I must admit it was strange not to be able to sit down and read the paper. They are printing some of Monday’s regular columns on Sunday, and others on Tuesday. They print the Monday comics on Tuesday, along with the Tuesday comics. Sure was strange reading the paper today. I get that it is a small town paper and changes will occur.

Yeah, It Really Happened

A Nebraska teen allegedly celebrated her bank robbery on YouTube, flashing money and what appears to be drugs in a video powered by Green Day music.

Hannah Sabata, 19, was arrested last week after she allegedly stole a car and held up a Waco bank, the York New-Times reports.

In the YouTube video, titled "Chick bank robber," Sabata uses captions and a large notepad to gloat about stealing a "shiny new" Pontiac Grand Am. She states she robbed a bank "with a gun, a pillow case, and a note."

Authorities say that Sabata entered the Cornerstone Bank in Waco on Nov. 29 and handed tellers a slip of paper that read, "You are being robbed! NO ALARMS OR LOCKS OR PHONES or INK BAGS! I have a loaded gun. You have 2 minutes," NTV reports.
