My Rambling Thoughts
Great day, monsoon is trying real hard to drop some rain. I know it will, the question is when today?

Out and about and ran into a colleague from Tuba. Nice to catch up. She retired a couple of years ago and her husband just retired this year. Both said that if they had known how good retirement was, they would have done it much sooner. Told her she was preaching to the choir.

Smiling broadly. Senate is cutting 2 weeks off their summer break do get something, actually anything, done. And America is asking why? The answer, Democrats are holding up the Republican agenda. Ha! Check your seating chart, Republicans have the majority in both houses.

THIS IS NOT NORMAL:
In order to have full transparency, Jr. has released emails that led up to the Russian meeting. Guess the NY Times saying they were releasing them had nothing to do with his release.

Somewhat Useless Information
Penicillin is made growing the appropriate species of mold on nutrients; the active compound is then extracted from the culture fluid and purified.
***
Most fungal species are saprophytes: they feed on remains of dead organisms or their by-products. Most forest soil has too much acid for bacteria to grow well, and so the fungi are the main decay producers.
***
Mucor is the name given to a group of mold fungi, which grow on the surface of decaying fruit, bread, horse manure, and other organic matter.

Trivia Hive  Answers
Miami
Florida is certainly a unique place, but who knew one of its cities was magical? Actually, the name supposedly refers to Miami's fast-growing development. Although Miami was officially incorporated as a city in 1896, it was home to native peoples and Spanish settlers who arrived in the 16th century. You'd think Bay Lake would be nicknamed the "Magic City." After all, Bay Lake is home to the Magic Kingdom. Sources: Thrillist, City of Miami website

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
