Thoughts for the day
A nice cloudless sky as I await a
storm later this week.
As I’m watching the Peter, Paul, and
Mary 50th on PBS, Mary reminded me in a talk with the audience, we are here to
promote peace, justice, and equality. What a great reminder for today’s
world.
I talked to my brother today. He sounds
much better and stronger than last week. He is fighting something and is
finally winning. Great news.
Symbols of USA and their hidden meaaning…
The Great Seal of the United States
The Great Seal is an emblem of authenticity
and sovereignty for the United States, gracing important documents with its
presence. It features a bald eagle clutching a scroll, a shield, and arrows,
each symbolizing peace and war.
The motto "E Pluribus Unum,"
meaning "Out of many, one," is a powerful reminder of the unity
within America's diverse states and peoples. This seal encapsulates the
foundational principles upon which the nation was built.
Its intricate design tells a story of
collaboration and strength, merging various elements into a cohesive whole. The
Great Seal is more than just a symbol; it's a testament to the enduring values
of unity and democracy.
