Thoughts for the day
Today is a break between storms. Nice
day to out and about.
AZ annual spending in education for
administration: Districts average 11%; Charter Schools are at 22%. That explains
a lot.
A trade war with Canada…really?!? I
don’t want to know what is next.
My new wiper blades sure worked well
in yesterday’s snow.
When I was in 6th grade I
first learned about National Parks. My teacher integrated the parks into
lessons in English, math, science, and social studies. I wonder how he would
handle this unprecedented attack on the Parks.
Forgotten American Heros…
Viola Liuzzo
Viola Liuzzo was a civil rights
activist who was tragically killed during the Selma to Montgomery marches in
1965. Her commitment to racial equality and justice led her to join the civil rights
movement, where she played a significant role in advocating for change.
Liuzzo's death highlighted the
dangers faced by those fighting for civil rights. Her legacy is one of bravery
and dedication, inspiring others to continue the fight for equality and justice
across the nation.
Random Thoughts…
The difference between fiction and
reality? Fiction must make sense.
Two twin-sized mattresses are the same
size as a single king size mattress.
I am convinced that the people who
make cough/cold syrup have never once actually tasted a berry.
There are currently over 200 people
living in the U.S with the name John Doe.
What makes us more sophisticated
animals are our intellect and opposable thumbs. Both of which we are wasting by
numbing our brains and scrolling via our thumbs on our “smart” phones.
Through, tough, thorough, thought,
trough, though don’t rhyme, but pony and bologna do.
