Fall day…cool
and cloudy. Puts me in a fall mood.
I headed out
this morning for a haircut. My stylist was ready for me, but her co-worker hadn’t
shown up so she was doing 3 of us at the same time. No problem, the two ladies
were coloring their hair, so she just slipped me in at my appointment time while
the two ladies waited for the timer to go off. All good.
Late
yesterday afternoon I went to Visionworks to order my new glasses. The frames
are never cheap, but it’s OK. I have always paid for one set of glasses and
frames and gotten a 2nd frame free. One of my old frames broke about
a month ago, and the one I wear is on it’s last leg. The new ones will be here
Oct. 19.
OPEC has decreased
its supply, even though Biden visited the Saudis recently. The news says to
expect a 30 cents/gal increase soon. I’m disappointed that the Saudis decided
to go with Russia in decreasing supply. Sadly, it looks like more drilling will
soon begin on US soil. I’m sorry to see fuel is more important than the
environment.
Congrats to
Col. Nicole Mann as she is in the air, heading for the International Space Station.
She is the first Native enrolled tribal member to do this. She is enrolled with
the California Round Valley Indian Tribes.
