Thoughts for the day

Lots of clouds today. We may get a little moisture this afternoon.

Getting in contact with the gastro doctor has become quite frustrating. I waited the 72 hours for him to get the referral. I called yesterday and their voice mail was full. This morning I had a formed stool, the first time in 3 weeks. If the loose stools return, I’ll try again on Monday.

I’m looking forward to a quiet weekend with nice weather. All is good here.

Thoughts for the day

A very nice spring day with a little wind.

I got an email that both my Federal and State taxes were accepted by IRS. Now just to wait for the checks. Yea!

My Social Security check was still $43 for the month. I’ll give it one more month to give me the correct amount.

It’s hard to understand the new 25% tariff on foreign cars and/or foreign parts that goes into effect Apr 3. This could lead to several million new cars not being purchased. Welcome Trump’s Make America Great.

Yesterday there was a protest of about 300 at City Hall here in Flagstaff. They were asking Where was Eli Cain, our Representative in the Congress. He hasn’t been back to Flagstaff since the election, hasn’t had any town halls, and just gives form letter responses to emails. It is a good question that still hasn’t been answered.

Four US Military are missing in Lithuania where their vehicle got stuck in water and mud. The military is looking for them. Odd, when President Trump was asked yesterday, he said he didn’t know about it. That’s odd because protocol demands that the President in kept in the loop of all missing US citizens in foreign countries. I guess Pete was too busy on Signal to remember to inform the President, an important part of his job.

Thoughts for the day

A warm cloudy day. No precipitation is expected today.

I took my taxes in this morning. The guy who has done them for the last 10+ years is out on leave, due to back problems. The Navajo Lady who did my taxes was great. I’ll be getting a nice chunk of change in a few weeks. No complaints.

I talked to Mary yesterday. She is out of rehab from surgery and is at her home in Phoenix. She sounded very upbeat and can’t wait to get back in the pool.

Our Governor, Katie Hobbs, is displaying the Tribal Flags that DOGE removed from the VA. The are viewable in the atrium of the capitol building in Phoenix. Good work.
