A nice warm day with high clouds. No Precipitation in the forecast.

Confused more than ever: HHS fired many and some where mistakes, according to
Sec of HHS…RFK, Jr. He said they would be reinstated. Then HHS office said they have no plans to reinstate anyone. Then the tariffs: 165% tariff on anything Chinese, then later in the day, except for electronics. It is time for Congress to recognize the chaos of their dear leader and put an end to it.

Bill Maher of Real Time was invited to the White House for dinner. He now believes that Trump just acts crazy when he has a huge audience. Maher says he was normal during the visit. I guess I can hope that is true.

It is interesting that the Sec. of Education talk at a meeting about the greatness of A1…that is a steak sauce. She meant A.I….artificial intelligence. She sure has that education thing down pat.

Thoughts for the day

Spring has sprung. Windows open letting in the fresh clean spring air. I am enjoying the birds singing in the tree next to my office.

Yesterday a new record high for Apr. 10 was set at 76°. The previous record was 74° set in 1999.

I did some shopping this morning. A dozen large eggs was $4.99. Prices aren’t really going down.

Grouchy old man mood: A neighbor moved out in the building near me. Yesterday they parked a car with no permit all day in front of my place. Today, they parked a trailer and a truck, still without a permit, in the first space next to the trash bin. I took a load of trash out but couldn’t put it in the bin because of the truck. People can be so inconsiderate.

A great spring day.

MRI went off without a hitch this time. Happy Camper.

Last night I get a call for a tele-town hall with Rep. Eli Crane. It only lasted about 20 minutes. He answered about 5 questions from supporters and dodged the one call from a non-supporter. There is now no question that my Rep is a total Trump guy. Lesson learned.

CNN had the Trump cabinet meeting live. All these people have been in their jobs about 2-3 months. Yet, each member started their comments with several sentences on how happy they are to be working with Trump the Great. Then they listed the Trump initiatives that they are working on…always being sure to mention Trump in almost every sentence. I have attended many meetings with my various bosses and his/her staff. As new members are introduced, most say how grateful they are to be working in their new job. Then the business of the meeting commences. Trump’s cabinet has never moved on from that initial meeting with the boss. I was not impressed, but did realize most of the Secretaries would not be there with any other human on the planet. Disheartened to say the least.
