Rambling Thoughts
Our
next storm wasn’t due until Friday. It is overcast already. Guess it just
couldn’t wait to bring us more snow & moisture.
Headed
to Sam’s this morning. Picked up lots of stuff. I’ve been eyeing a ‘smokeless indoor
grill’ that is advertised of TV for $125.
Almost bought it the other day and even signed up for their special
emails. Then there it was at Sam’s for $99. Now it’s in my house and ready to
work. I sure hope I like it as much as my air fryer.
I
spent time watching both 45’s address and the Dem response last night. Not
impressed with either one. Though I must say I was heartened that the Dems did
take a firmer stand. Now everyone needs to sit down and make some decisions and
reopen the government. My email to my senators and representative: No Blame. No Finger pointing. No anecdotal
stories. Legislation is the only answer. Open the entire government ASAP.
Way
too many entertainers are in the news for their despicable treatment of women.
My question is what to do with their (sometimes) huge body of work? When someone
is convicted in court it should not be a problem, but even that is. On my cable I have TVONE that is a black owned enterprise. They continue to run
hours and hours of Bill Cosby’s show every day. I never watch Ol’ Bill anymore.
Before a court trial it becomes difficult if I should watch and/or listen to
the accuser’s show or music. Right now, I stop watching or listening to it. But
should I delete them before the trial?
