Thoughts for the day

A nice spring day.

After trying several test, my doctor has referred me to a Gastro guy to figure out my loose stools. It may take awhile to get in. I’ll know later today.

President Trump has a worse criminal recorded that 99% of those he is deporting. Hmmm.

As DOGE is ‘scrubbing’ information from websites is the 2025 version of burning books. Something to think about.

Thoughts for the day

The day started cloudy but by 10am it was a clear sky and nice day.

Our Great Decisions discussion was very interesting. Looking forward to a better economic outcome we found that some of Trump’s concepts are good, but it is Trump’s implementation that makes everyone feel like we are living in chaos. There are too many regulations that hurt the American people. There are too many people in the Federal government. We are hoping for an end to the chaos. Also, since we all receive Social Security checks, Trump needs to be ‘hands off’ SS checks. Two of our members have a child in Antarctica on a Federal Grant and they are concerned the grant will be killed, and then no money to bring their son home. Another couple has 2 grandkids who are farmers, and they are concerned that Federal assistance will stop and they will lose their farms. We are a small group and realize there are lots of stories like ours everywhere across the country. Hoping for the best.

Thoughts for the day

A nice spring day. I’m as ready as I can be for our discussion group.

Trump has rescinded Biden’s executive order that gave 574 recognized 574 tribal nations sovereignty. What a mess.

It was pointed out to me that DOGE seems to be cutting funding and employees from the social programs at a much faster pace than from the Dept. of Defense. Last month Musk spoke on the ‘F-4*’ fighter planes stating that drones have made all ‘F-4*’ obsolete. Yesterday Trump did an executive order to fund the building of the latest ‘F-4*’ fighter jet. All the American people want to know is ‘Who is in charge?’
