A very nice summer day.

I got a blood draw this morning for my Monday blood treatment.

In 1963 Alcatraz closed and was later reopened as a tourist attraction. Now the current administration wants to upgrade it and reopen it as a prison. This would be very costly for the taxpayers and would not be able to house as many as he is saying.

Trump wants PBS/NPR to get no Federal funds because he believes their news coverage is biased. Just another delusion in his brain.

Thoughts for the day

It is still smoky from the various fires. I have a FB friend who is a Navajo who works with preserving Native areas. He is also a firefighter. He was at the North Rim and helped turn the pack mules loose as the fire got very nearby. All mules did what mules do and safely evacuated the area and are now all safe.

Yesterday I went to the car wash about 11am. About 2:30 the monsoon returned and dirtied my vehicle. It’s all good as I have a monthly pass for car washes and we certainly need the moisture.
