While it was a warm day—82°--we are still waiting for some of them those monsoons to return. A little moisture would sure be nice. Not a lot happening in Flagstaff today, at least for me. I was out and about part of the day, but it was just too warm to want to be outside very long. The evening is cooling off nicely. Last night the wind blew hard. I had to get up about 4:00am and close my bedroom window for fear I would end up in Oz. It calmed down about sunrise and just a slight breeze during the day. Work outside continue today, so couldn’t reopen the house until I got back home. Now it is perfect.
I had lunner with a friend from Tuba…oh, lunner is either a really late lunch or a really early dinner. He is my mentor when it comes to computers. It was good to see him again. He was thinking about retiring a few months ago, but then decided for the infamous ‘one more year.’ Good for him. It’s just not for me. We had a good Chinese meal, and caught up on everything. Amazing how much we still have in common.
