It’s only been a couple of weeks since my last angioedema episode. About 9pm last night I felt another one coming on. I was early this time in taking my meds. Didn’t do much good. I was limited to about 30 minutes of sleep at a time, then wake up, fall back to sleep in about 30 minutes, wake up soon after that. I probably got about an hour of sleep last night. The swelling went down about 6am. What a pain in the butt. I was tired all day. Today was  Don’t Drive..Find Alternative Transportation Day…and I didn’t drive but I didn’t use alternative transportation either. I was too tired to go anywhere. Even a one hour afternoon nap didn’t catch me up. I’ll be fine tomorrow, but hate losing a whole day to this crazy thing.

It was a nice day outside. I was able to have windows open all day. I got a letter from the HOA that they are going to install gutters at all the townhouses. That will definitely help during monsoon season and might even help during snow season. Time will tell.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Hundreds of leeches were applied to a woman's face to treat a large wound inflicted by her own dog, doctors in Sweden said. The woman was rushed to a hospital after the dog unexpectedly attacked her, ripping off a large piece of her face from her upper lip to her eye, The Local reported Tuesday.
After doctors worked to reattach the torn part, leeches were applied to help re-establish blood circulation to the woman's face. "The most important thing was to get blood into the torn off body part, which we managed to do within an hour of the start of the operation," specialist Stina Klasson said.
The 358 leeches, by sucking blood and introducing blood-thinning fluids, helped the process. "The grower who supplies the hospital with leeches ran out. More leeches had to be flown in from the United Kingdom," Klasson said. Doctors said the surgery was a success, although additional reconstructive procedures would probably be necessary.

A guy was walking beside a pond when a frog jumped out and told him that she was really a beautiful princess and if he were to kiss her, she would make him VERY happy! He picked up the frog and put it into his pocket.
A few minutes later, the frog poked her head out and said, "Didn't you hear me?! I'm a beautiful princess and if you kiss me I will stay with you and do ANYTHING you want!"
The guy took the frog out and said, "Look, I understand what you are saying, but I am a computer programmer and right now I don't have time for a girlfriend,........but a talking FROG is REALLY, REALLY COOL!"
