Free Rambling Thoughts
Warm and windy today. I was out and about early, to miss most of the wind. It worked. Only hope now is that no fires start in our forest. The May we just finished is only one of three May’s in history that Flag had no precipitation. Scary. We did hit double digit humidity with a whopping 10%.

I just can’t believe that Zimmerman, the guy from Florida, has a legal defense fund that is raking in over $1000 a day. He certainly deserves a fair trial, and good lawyers are hard to find. But I’m sure with a case like this there are many attorney’s who would do it pro-bono, just for the publicity. His fund, from donations, is at over $200,000 now and still growing every day. In fact, after the judge ordered him back to jail for claiming to be poor, the daily intake has increased.

Yeah, It Really Happened
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - A Massachusetts woman said she investigated bird sounds in her yard and discovered a baby cardinal with two heads and three beaks. April Britt of Northampton said she and her husband followed the sounds of squawking birds in their back yard to a tree where they discovered the baby female cardinal with the unusual deformities, WGGB-TV, Springfield, reported Thursday. "My husband says, 'Oh my God. Look at this poor thing! That's an oddity if I ever saw one,'" Britt said. "I've never seen anything like that before." Britt said she discovered the bird on the ground a few hours later and donned a plastic glove to return it to the tree. She said the baby cardinal was nowhere to be seen the following morning. "I would like to know she survived." Britt said. "The neighbor is going to keep an eye to see if she sees her."

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site has mistakes and sadly once out the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
