My Rambling Thoughts
Cloudy day, awaiting the monsoon. Wind is picking up, so it won’t be long.
Got my CPAP machine set for something. Not real sure what he did or if it will fix the issue, or now, if there is even an issue. No matter what the little screen shows, the printout says I’m averaging 7.5, whatever that means. I have never been so confused by something that seems so simple. Guess I’ll find out next Fri when I see my PCP.

And now the Conservative spin begins. ‘We can’t pass a better plan than Obamacare, so we will just wait for it to fail and blame the liberals.’…oh, and some of our own who didn’t get in lock step with a bad plan.  One side: The failure to pass a bill now puts healthcare solely on the Republican Congress. Other side: The Democrats got us into this healthcare mess and any failure falls solely on them. Hello? Can you hear us? Healthcare is an important piece of America and is important to all Americans.

Yep, It Really Happened
A Texas police officer responded to an unusual plea for help when a Good Samaritan called 911 to report someone slipped a note through the receipt slot of an ATM, saying they were trapped inside.

The incident happened at a Bank of America branch in Corpus Christi.

Officer Richard OIden arrived at the scene after the repairman had pushed out handwritten notes that read: "Please help. I'm stuck in here, and I don't have my phone. Please call my boss."

At first, Olden said he thought someone was playing a prank. Then he heard a faint voice coming from behind the machine and realized someone was actually inside.

The repairman, who was not identified, had gone inside the room housing the ATM to fix a broken lock on the door. Unfortunately, the lock got the better of the worker and he'd left his cellphone in his truck, rendering him helpless.

The man had apparently put several notes through the machine, though previous customers either didn't notice them or thought they were a joke.

When police realized what had happened, they kicked open the door to the security room, freeing the man inside.

Somewhat Useless Information
It is a myth that a duck's quack won't echo. This has been conclusively disproved through different scientific acoustic tests, and was even featured as "busted" on an episode of the Discovery Channel show Mythbusters.
***
Ducks have been domesticated as pets and farm animals for more than 500 years, and all domestic ducks are descended from either the mallard or the Muscovy duck.

***
Ducks are omnivorous, opportunistic eaters and will eat grass, aquatic plants, insects, seeds, fruit, fish, crustaceans and other types of food.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
