My Rambling Thoughts
I am amazed. While talking to the dentist yesterday, he gave me an antibiotic, and two different pain meds for the expected pain and swelling from my molar extraction. It’s been 28+ hours and I’m taking the antibiotic and am just waiting for some kind of pain. So far, none. No swelling, no pain, just two pesky ends to the stitches that are in my mouth. Very happy camper here.

What? 45 is sending more troops into Afghanistan. Only surprise there is that he waited this long. Look how many Generals are around him. Have to agree that he doesn’t publicize numbers now, we will know soon enough as the planes take off with troops. I also like the idea that we don’t announce withdrawal timelines. Never understood why Obama did that. Somehow I fear that we will soon have troops or airstrikes in Pakistan, a nuclear power. And I doubt they will be happy about that.

People in Phx are awaiting the arrival of 45 and his sidekick, the VP. Phx mayor asked him to hold off, 45 declined. Our Governor will meet him on the now infamous tarmac (remember Obama getting a finger shook at him by then Gov. Brewer), but the Governor will not attend the rally, saying he will stay back to ensure safety for all involved. I am busy going back in my memory as to any other President being on the campaign trail in the 1st year in office. Nobody coming to mind. Oh well, 45 does whatever he wants, all on tax dollars. Local news in Phx is expecting big protests downtown when 45 and crew arrive. And many Phx locals are hoping that 45 will pardon their convicted former sheriff for his racist acts. I’ll be watching.
