My Rambling Thoughts
I had my annual Medicare required PCP appointment today. Good Lord. Lots of questions. Are you depressed? Do you ever feel like death is a good answer? Do you have daily social contact with others? Do people mention that you are speaking more slowly than you used to? How’s your appetite? Do you forget things on a regular basis? Have you fallen in the last two weeks? And on and on and on. The questionnaire made me grateful, but also made me very uneasy about getting old.  And I have to do it every year. I did get some good news about my CPAC machine. I go in next week for the ‘initial’ how, why, etc. stuff and to find out why Noridian sent me a letter that Medicare would no longer cover my machine. Since I don’t even know who/what Noridian is. Turns out my PCP dropped several balls regarding the damn machine, but his partner-in-crime says she can fix it next Friday. Should have taken the letter today but left it on the counter…hmmm…maybe my memory is failing me…Nope, just rushed out at 7:30 to make an 8:00 appointment. Remembered I had forgotten it while waiting for a break in traffic to turn on the main drag.

When I got home I sent a long email to both my Senators about this whole healthcare mess. I reminded them they were elected to represent every AZ citizen, not the left, right, fringe, Dems, Reps, but ALL the people. That the poor and elderly are part of the formula. And that I am part of the elderly who VOTE, and have voted in every local, state, and national election since I turned 21. I also mentioned that as they cast their vote on this latest bill, that it had better be better for the entire AZ population and not just a political answer. Both Senators are Republicans. About an hour after my well-written expose reached the Senators, John McCain came out against it. Guess he read my email. Haha.

First day of Fall is certainly a fall day. Cooler, cooler breeze, starting to look like snow is in our fairly near future. Guess I’m ready. Furnace filter replaced, furnace turned on, long sleeves and sweaters are ready to wear, long pants are out and shorts are put away. Still wearing my TEVAs until the snow covers the ground.

Bizarre News
A couple was arrested for having sex in public places and recording the acts.

The two are facing obscenity charges after they were busted for having sex in a Louisiana public library, and then uploading the videos to their Pornhub page, according to police.

Police said they received a report of the two, recording themselves performing sex acts on each other inside the library. The videos were then uploaded them to the porn site. As a result, police arrested 35-year-old Rex Jernigan and his wife Elizabeth, 33.

Police also learned the couple recorded themselves in various other businesses throughout the City of Houma and Terrebonne Parish, including a Walmart and Burger King. They then uploaded the videos to Pornhub.

The Jernigans were charged with six counts of obscenity. After they were released on bail, the couple addressed their 4,180 subscribers and friends.

"To all my friends and followers. My wife and I bailed out of jail for our public videos we posted on Pornhub. Hopefully, we'll get to post a new video soon."

In the "About Us" section on Pornhub, the couple wrote in part: "the more attention we receive, the more we'll post."

A GoFundMe account was created for the couple. The GoFundMe page is named: sexybeast82 & laylaDevin. The account reads: "Please help this couple in their time of need! Every nickel helps!"

So far, the account has raised $10.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
