Quote of the Day
Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful,
we must carry it with us or we find it not.

My Rambling Thoughts
Continue to get better. Out and about this morning. Dr. called and I have an infection one usually gets from eating raw fish. Haven’t done that, but get to take Cipro for 3 days to see if that will stop the infection. Then back to the Dr. on Fri. This getting old-er thing is becoming a pain.
So 45 gives Dreamers until Mar 5 to get Congress to do something. Hearing some hope from Senate, but the crazy House far right is staying silent. It is so hard for me to understand how anyone can vote against the DACA program and still sleep at night. Those who have looked at the background check to get DACA status knows it is not a quick process. For all those who are so concerned about the DACA youth really just don’t know what is going on. They are believing the Fake News that doesn’t tell the truth.
When I was in college I did volunteer work with migrant children in the summer. Back then they were called Migrant and we didn’t ask or care if they were here legally. They were kids, they had a hard time getting an education, and our program was there to help. The kids we worked with were too small to work the fields around Broomfield, so their parents gladly sent them our program so that the kids were fed, learned, and parents didn’t have to worry about their safety. All our kids came to the area because their parents were there. The only life they knew was moving from crop to crop and didn’t worry about where they were.
N Korea needs to stay on the news radar. 45 jumps from Transgenders to Korea to DACA to whatever pops into his mind. Keeping us confused makes his presidency unusual.

Bizarre News
*------ Wasn't Ben Affleck In This Movie? ------*
Two women dressed up as nuns and tried to rob a bank before running away, according to police in Pennsylvania. Pocono Township police said that they are looking for the two women, who were not identified, after coming into the bank and waving guns to get the tellers to hand them over cash. According to the police investigation, the two 'nuns' walked into the Citizens Bank and pulled out guns. They demanded money from the tellers. Suddenly, the two nuns fled from the scene before getting any cash. Police do not know why the two nuns got scared. No injuries were reported.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
