My
Rambling Thoughts
Nice, but cloudy
day here. Spent the a.m. getting paperwork for taxes out of a pile and into a semblance
of order. Will get my appointment with H&R tomorrow.
Got a letter Saturday
that my blood draw at the blood doctor was not paid by BCBS. Of course not, as
Medicare is my primary. Called the blood company and was on hold for…ready…25
minutes. When she finally decided that I was next, it took less than 3 minutes
to fix. Then I called the blood dr. to be let them know they messed up. Of
course, this is the one dr. who has the worst customer service office staff on
the planet. I tell the lady my issue, she transfers me to an answering machine.
I leave a message to call me. It’s been 4 hours and still no call back. These
idiots usually take 2 or 3 calls before they fix anything.
Then I found out
that my measly SS check does not meet the amount of my basic Medicare so I owe
them $180 for the year. Not bad, I must say for all it does, but doesn’t seem
right.
Amazing story
about the orange snow in Europe. It came from a sandstorm on the Sahara. How
come we don’t have red snow here with the wind on the Rez?
