My Rambling Thoughts
Our Focus group in the Amazon adventure was an excellent group of travlers. We were together for the trip and only people om the ship. This gave us a great time to really learn about each other. I had traveled with quite a few of them on other trips, but this time we really had a chance to get to know about each other’s lives, VERY NICE.

On the last trek, we climbed another 8 rope bridges to get to the top of the canopy. These bridges were narrower and sturdier than t the lodge. It was a great time, and everyone made it with no problems…As we were returning to the boat I somehow slipped on wet leaves and injured my wrist. The guide wrapped it in a T-shirt and made a sling. The nearest Dr. was 2 hours by boat and another hour by vehicle, so we went to the Shaman lady we had met the day before. She put some Dragon’s blood on it to ease the pain and some tree bark mixture to stop the welling. Both worked very well. I finished the trip, thanks to some Oxy that Ellie had.  We visited several more villages, had more great meals, including ice cream!, and left the boat to return to Lima and fly back to the USA.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
