My Rambling Thoughts
Cheryl
came into town yesterday, so we had a Bon Voyage lunch for Mary as she left for
Italy this morning. Hope she has a great adventure with her daughter. One night
they are staying in a 3,000-year-old cave/hotel . Should be
interesting to say the least.
Sure
glad I don’t live in the path of any hurricanes. All the news channels are
doing complete coverage. I get that no one wants to leave their home or business
during any disaster, but those who don’t evacuate in a mandatory evacuation
should all be told that no first responders will be coming to ‘save’ them.
One
of the things I never thought I would see was a President of the US that has zero
empathy. He is so concerned about himself that he doesn’t care about anyone
else. To say FEMA did a great job in Puerto Rico is disgusting. Almost 3,000
Americans died after the hurricane because of lack of electricity, food, and
medical needs. Shameful.
