My Rambling Thoughts

Yesterday our retirement group found a new restaurant in Flag. Several years ago the place was one of our all-time favorites, but they closed down and the first replacement was removed from our list of restaurants after one visit. Now a new owner has opened up a great restaurant. It is right next to campus, so I’m sure the evenings are much busier than the lunch crowd. The place was opened up, with windows around the dining area letting in sunlight, the service was great, and the food was exceptional. It is back on our list.

So great to see the two women walking in space without a man nearby them, in case it was too much for them. Even Trump talked to them about the achievement. So glad that NASA was finally able to find the spacesuits that fit.

I was surprised, and disappointed when former President Obama endorsed the current Canadian Prime Minister in his reelection campaign. First, it’s none of America’s business who is elected in Canada. Second, if we are trying to prevent others from interfering in our election, then we should not interfere in another country’s election process.

The Broncos’ game was on my TV. Not their best showing this season. I know they can’t win them all, but when they are the only live game of national TV, wish they had done a whole lot better.

It’s a decent fall day. I had no reason to go out, so spent the morning ‘straightening up’ and fixing a few things that I have been putting off. Looking forward to a good weekend.
