After returning to Earth, many astronauts have a difficult time adjusting to gravity and often forget that things fall if you drop them.

NASA officials have maintained that astronauts have never had sex on the International Space Station or during any space shuttle missions. Scientists speculate, however, that while sex in space might pose some mechanical problems, conceiving a child could be dangerous. Low gravity could raise the risk of an ectopic pregnancy, and radiation could raise the risk of birth defects.

While no NASA astronauts have had sex in space, in 1999 porn stars Silvia Saint and Nick Lang did a 20-second zero-gravity intercourse scene for the film The Uranus Experiment: Part Two.

My Rambling Thoughts

Today became the day to clean up & move art work in my main hallway and living room. I have a lot of Native art work from my time on the Rez. This morning I moved it around, some to the living room, some to the hallway.  Took a little more time than I expected, but worth it. Lots of new views for the winter months. One print I moved to the living room is from Bob’s son-in-law that I got about 8 years ago. It is now the centerpiece of one wall.

Here’s an interesting thing: The lifespan of these creatures is about 50+ years in the wild.  85% of sea turtles being born are female. Those pesky scientists say that this is caused by the earth’s warming temperature. If the trend continues, there might not be any sea turtles being born in about 40 years. Hmmm.

Living in the middle of a huge National Forest has it advantages and disadvantages. One disadvantage at this time of year is ‘prescribed burns’…which bring smoke to our beautiful town. For the past few days, there have been three large prescribed burns outside our town. I understand the need for these burns, but I do wish someone could figure out how to get the smoke to honor our city boundaries. My area has been spared, for the most part, but other areas of town have not had that good fortune.  

I got an email from my brother, looks like Christmas will probably be in Mexico. Getting excited already. He just called and it is set. Looking for airline deals now.
