Random Tidbits
Fugu is a famous type of sushi made from puffer fish. Fugu is particularly difficult to prepare because the organs of the puffer fish produce a lethal neurotoxin that is 1,200 times more toxic than cyanide. Chefs must receive a special license to prepare fugu, and the emperor of Japan is forbidden from even tasting it.
The Japanese word banzai literally means '10 thousand years' and was traditionally used to wish the emperor a long life. Today, it is closer to a cheer like 'Hip Hip Hooray!'

My Rambling Thoughts
Feb 2 was an unusual palindrome. 02/02/2020, reads the same forward and backwards. Won’t happen again until 03/03/3030. I don’t think I’ll be around to see that one. An in-law from Chicago had a birthday and turned 44 yesterday. 2+2+20+20=44. Hmmm.
This morning was a fairly warm day for winter so I was able to take a nice walk. Glad I did it around 9a as the weather guy says we will have 40mph winds early this evening and maybe into tomorrow. I was surprised how many were out walking at 9a. Not my usual time for a walk.
When I got back home, I did two loads of laundry…bed linens and towels. Still waiting for the towels to dry.
Almost time for time for the Super Bowl. Not that into this year’s game, but Go Chiefs...and J. Lo
