My
Rambling Thoughts
A
nice day for a long walk in the forest. Entered the forest about a
block away. Spent about an hour just wandering around in the fresh
air. Feel much better about the lockdown.
A few
days ago I started my vacation at my home. Moving from room to room
for different views. While this has been a challenge, I must say the
maid service on my vacation resort is not up to my expectations. I
still have to do my own laundry, change my own linens, make my own
bed, clean and vacuum each room. And to top it off, I have to do all
the cooking and clean up after. Some vacation! And to add to all
this, I had another angio-edema just before I went to bed last night.
Big lip, meds, then woke up with a still swollen lip. After about an
hour it returned to normal. Now I'm rethinking my Easter plans.
Another
doctor's office called to update me. They moved my next annual
appointment to 6 months from now unless I have a sudden change. They
are only seeing emergencies.
Phoenix
is having strange weather. Flash flooding during heavy rain isn't
unusual. Now they are having 'areal flooding' warnings almost every
day. One just was issued. Thanks Duck, Duck, Go for helping me find
out what it is. It is like flash flooding, but is caused when the
ground is saturated and more rain comes in a steady rain, not a
sudden hard rain. Flash flooding is when the rain comes hard and
faster than the dry earth can't absorb it fast enough. Good to know,
I guess.
