My
Rambling Thoughts
Another
stay at home Saturday, with a nice long walk.
Got
the email from H&R for tax return. Had a problem, but my tax guy
fixed that quickly. I waded through the website, answered the
questions, paid my bill and finished my part. Then my tax guy sent if
off. Easy.
Remember
40% of Navajo on the Rez have no running water, 35% have no
electricity. Makes hand washing and and cleaning difficult.
When
I'm on a trip and spending the whole day in the sun, I carry some
head covers...not hats. Now those are proving good as they make
excellent mouth and nose covers. At the time I didn't buy the ones
with a face in the design. Should have. Camo works, but that's what
most people have.
Those
people with home payments, beware. Some lenders are offering
'deferred payments' which sounds very good. Read the fine print...it
is 'deferred' for 3 months and then you have to pay a balloon payment
of those three months, plus the newly due next month. Others are
offering deferred payments where you don't pay for 3 months, then pay
as usual with the 3 months simply added to the end date...giving the
lender lots more interest.
While
the Trump administration has new policies to deal with Covid19,
again, be informed. While he keeps allowing the states to buy masks
from vendors, rather than a National plan, this is simply Darwin's
theory of Survival of the Fittest. Strange policy for a President
doesn't believe in evolution. His policy also allowed vendors to sell
to countries around the world. Now he is frantically trying to plug
that hole.
