Today’s Quote
"The real test is not whether
you avoid this failure, because you won't.
It's whether you let it harden or
shame you into inaction,
or whether you learn from it;
whether you choose to
persevere."
-Barack
Obama
Random Tidbits
July, the hottest summer month in the Northern
Hemisphere, is National Ice Cream Month, not surprisingly. Americans eat an
average 20 quarts of ice cream a year. Vanilla is the most popular flavor, with
chocolate coming in a distant second.
In southern England, over
37,000 people gather at Stonehenge to see the summer solstice. Druids and
pagans are among those who celebrate the longest day of the year at this
notable place.

My Rambling Thoughts
Hoping for the monsoon. Yesterday was just a sprinkle.
Four inmates and no staff have tested positive for
COVID at our local jail. Quarantine and Isolation are difficult in any jail
setting. The staff and inmates must wear masks, inmates are given more free
soap. Meals are brought to each cell. Time around others is extremely limited. Not
a great place to spend time.
Just a lazy day for me.
