days continue. Warm, slight breeze, enjoyable.
Broncos
beat Seattle last night. I couldn’t watch the game as it wasn’t on any channel
I have. But I could follow on the internet machine.
CNN
advertised the We Love NYC concert all week. I watched it on and off. When
Elton John came on, there had been some light drizzle, but now there was lightning.
Elton’s song was stopped. NYC Mayor came out to say “Seek shelter now. We will
resume after the storm passes.” Then a few minutes later an unseen announcer said
‘The concert is cancelled.’ CNN must have had no other programming available because
Anderson Cooper and his cohost turn it into a New Year’s Eve type program. They
joked, cajoled, then started interviewing people and then interviewing performers
who were backstage and simply calling in. This lasted the rest of the time
allocation of the program. It turned out to be quite entertaining and crazy at
the same time.
